Creative Climate Action Fund III Grant Call (2026-2029)

Creative Ireland is delighted to announce the launch of a new €6.5 million Creative Climate Action Fund. It will support imaginative, large-scale, creative, cultural and artistic initiatives that support communities around climate change and empower people to make meaningful behavioural change.

The Creative Climate Action Fund III (2026-2029) is an initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme in partnership with the Shared Island Initiative and the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications.

Reconciliation Fund Outreach Workshops

In advance of the opening of the Reconciliation Fund Annual & Strategic Partnership Grant rounds and the launch of the new Reconciliation Fund Strategy 2026-2029 in March 2026, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Reconciliation Fund invites you to attend their series of Outreach Workshops over the course of March 2026.    If you intend to submit an application in this year’s round, you are strongly recommended you attend one of these outreach workshops. 

Please Note: this year’s Annual Round will open in March and not February as in previous years. The exact opening date will be communicated in due course, however we expect it to be around St Patrick’s Day. Strategic Partnership Applications will be by invitation only to eligible groups, with further details being made available at the workshops.

Rosie & Jim Charity & Community Fund 2026
In 2026, the fund will welcome all registered Irish charities to apply for one or more initiatives. With a total of up to €40,000 available, the fund aims to help charities nationwide create meaningful impact.

Who can apply?
• Registered Irish charity (CHY/CRA number)• Project delivered in Ireland for communities in Ireland
• Project can start within 3 months and finish within 12 months of award
• Appropriate governance, safeguarding, financial controls
• It must be clear that this fund will be exclusively used for a specific project and not for general operations.

The deadline for application is 4 March 2026.

Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2026

Our Community Heritage Grant Scheme is now open for applications. The scheme supports community/voluntary groups nationwide with heritage projects – built, natural, and cultural.

The maximum amount available per organisation is €25,000. The closing date for applications is 20th March 2026 at 8pm.

Open Rivers Programme

The European Open Rivers Programme is a grant-giving organisation dedicated to restoring healthy, free-flowing rivers across Europe by supporting the removal of small, obsolete dams. 

They are inviting new applications for our grants from 13:00 CET on 16th February 2026 until 13:00 CET on 13th March 2026. Key upcoming dates are available on the calendar page of their website.

ChanageX – Funding for community projects in Donegal

ChangeX, a non-profit organisation that connects communities with proven ideas and funding to empower impactful community projects.


With support from Greencoat Renewables, ChangeX has just launched community funds in wind farm communities across Ireland, including in Donegal, to enable local groups, schools, and organisations to build sustainable, thriving communities. The Beam Hill Wind Farm Community Fund is now accepting applications for funding to start or expand a community project. The deadline to apply is March 12th.

New Solutions Pilot Grants

Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, Jerry Buttimer TD, has launched the New Solutions Social Innovation Pilot Grant Scheme, a €4 million fund to support early-stage social innovations in Ireland.

The application will be available on the New Solutions Social Innovation Hub website 

Artist and Youth Work Residency Grant Scheme – Now Open for Applications

The Artist and Youth Work Residency Grant Scheme supports innovative partnerships between youth groups, artists, and, where relevant, arts organisations. Residencies may involve an artist working within a youth work setting or a youth group taking up residence in an arts setting.

Managed by the National Youth Council of Ireland on behalf of the Arts Council and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, the scheme offers two funding strands:

Youth Arts Explorer Grant (€1,500)

Supports youth services and organisations that are beginning to introduce arts practice into their youth work setting.

Artist and Youth Work Full Residency Grant (€5,000)

Supports more established partnerships to develop youth arts practice and expand young people’s access to high-quality arts experiences.

Closing date: Friday 20th March at 12 noon

The Arts Council – Culture Night Late

Culture Night Late is designed to support events that will begin after 9pm and continue
late into the night on Culture Night, Friday, 18 September 2026.
The award is offered in partnership with the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport under the NightTime Economy Taskforce. The award aims to promote more inclusive and innovative flagship late-night arts events that cater for a diverse range of audience types. Events should attract a large, diverse audience and offer audiences a greater diversity in their Culture Night experience that extends late into the night.  Full details available HERE

For the next 10 homeowners who progress to Stage 4 and enter a contract with NWEA for full energy upgrade works (to B2+ rating) in 2025, will avail of this generous discount.

The Minister for Climate, Environment and Energy and Transport, Darragh O’Brien TD has announced a package of new and increased SEAI grants to make it more affordable and easier for homeowners to upgrade their homes, making them warmer, healthier, more comfortable and more sustainable – with lower energy bills.
